Time Saving Tips and Tricks for Android 7 Nougat
Android is the most popular operating system for mobiles and introduces enhancements and security features with every new Android version. Android 7 Nougat is no exception. It has improved security and privacy along with some great feature enhancements. Following are some tips and tricks to get the most out of your Android 7 device.
Easy to Access Quick Settings Toolbar
Quick settings toolbar in Android 7 is very useful and easy to access. Just swipe down from the top of the screen and it will offer you the ability to quickly access features. You can turn on and off commonly used features like Wi-Fi, mobile data, airplane mode, and many more. It displays five icons, but with the little arrow, you can show more rows and access other features. You can add or remove these icons.
Clear All Open Apps with One Tap
Android users have been requesting this feature for a long time. Now, you can bring the recent, or multi-tasking, menu and tap on Clear All to close all applications.
Switch Between Two Apps
You can switch between two apps by firing up the recent apps and clicking on the desired app. However, Android 7 brings a new way to quickly switch between two apps. Just double-tap the recent icon in the navigation bar and it will switch to the last used app.
Enter Split Screen Mode
Now working on two apps at once is possible and easy. In Android 7, tab and hold the recent icon button. Then drag an app to the upper half of the screen. This app will take the upper half of your screen and you will be able to select another app, by tapping it in the recent list, to take the lower half of the screen. Please note that some apps do not support split-screen mode.
